A BRIEF HISTORY

H. Mears Ltd was founded in Preston, Lancashire in 1802. We are in our sixth generation of Mears family leadership. Being well established and having successfully traded for well over 200 years, we specialise in carpet, vinyl, laminates, real wood and ceramics, together with a fine selection of rugs catering for all tastes. We carry over 2,500 rolls of carpet in stock, from traditional designs to the most modern of plain colours in a wide selection of textures. Not only do we supply floor coverings to the domestic market, but also to major housebuilders, universities, hotels, nursing homes, hospitals and government departments.

We are situated on Longridge Road, next to the Red Scar industrial estate, near to Junction 31A of the M6 motorway. Look for our two giant warehouses.
